Worley is looking to provide Senior Instrument Engineering services to the Chrysaor E&C contract based in Aberdeen (Annan House office).
The Scope of Work for Senior Instrument Engineer includes, but is not limited to, delivery and execution of the following discrete activities and / or duties for delivery of Senior Instrument Engineer services to the Chrysaor E&C contract.
Contract Scope Summary:
The Chrysaor E&C contract is master services framework agreement with Chrysaor Ltd to provide engineering and construction services to support in the ongoing development and maintenance of the company assets within the UKCS. The contract produces individual purchase orders for award and is not limited to defined scopes and functions via requests for services from Chrysaor. The workload on the contract is defined by the client requirements with manning profiles constantly changing to meet the clients changing needs. Scopes from minor modifications through to bespoke project works on the installation topsides are covered under the contract requirements.
The Instrument scope for this contract as a minimum shall include:
Procurement of field instrumentation, instrument valves, bulk instrument materials, including supplier management of orders for compliance to technical requirements.
Procurement and management of system vendor scopes of work and document approvals
Design assurance for all modifications including integration of new equipment and systems.
Completion and technical closeout of offshore executed modifications.
Delivery of predominantly J-Area instrumentation scopes for Chrysaor - Key scopes for delivery as part of this role will be supporting in the delivery of G150 S/D scopes among other scopes at the discretion of the lead engineer.
Anticipated Project Timeline:
The project was won in August 2018 and has an initial term of 5 years with the option of a further year extension.
Primary Duties Required:
Adherence to Worley and Chrysaor safety practices.
Technical input to any change requests resulting from either internal or external scope growth beyond the original contract Target Cost estimates (TCE) requirements.
Technical expertise associated with the design and implementation of instrumented systems.
Production and checking of instrument deliverables required to execute this Scope of Work and in line with the Chrysaor Project Execution Plan (PEP) requirements.
Production and checking of Instrument engineering and design deliverables to the Worley design documentation checking and approval standard.
Site Surveys, to be carried out offshore on the Chrysaor Ltd UKCS assets.
Attendance at project meetings, including any safety or engineering reviews (including, but not limited to HAZOP, HAZID, model reviews, constructibility reviews, etc.)
Attendance at Chrysaor client meetings.
Engineering production and checking of Instrument design drawings completed by Worley.
Calculations pertaining to instrument design, to be performed in line with industry standard expectations and aligned to Chrysaor customer technical practice where applicable.
Scheduling and completion of work to agreed contract milestones.
Use and compliance with International & Chrysaor standards, in line with the individual Scopes of Requirements (SOR) defined by clients.
Use of Worley document management system.
Liaison with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) office (where required).
Execution of this scope of work in line worth Worley business code of conduct requirements.
Interface management with all disciplines, but most significantly pipe stress and pipe support functions.
• Instrument Engineering Degree at Bachelors level (or equivalent)
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) preferred
• Demonstrable experience of execution of similar projects of scope and complexity.
• Valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)
Suitable IT hardware and software required to enable execution of this Scope of Work, connected to the Worley network, including all relevant software licences.
Maintenance, up-keep and replacement of above referenced IT equipment as required.
Site survey equipment, including access to a digital camera where required.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) specific to the Chrysaor offshore requirements.
Stationary as required, including access to the relevant hard copy / electronic stamps required for compliance to Worley Engineering document checking and control.
Security pass access to the relevant Worley office(s) and customer office if essential for the role.
